Frequently Asked Questions
What is JSON-LD?
JSON-LD (JavaScript Object Notation for Linked Data) is the recommended format by Google for adding structured data to web pages. It lives inside a <script> tag and does not affect visible content.
What is Microdata?
Microdata uses HTML attributes (itemscope, itemtype, itemprop) to embed structured data directly into page content. It is an older format but still supported by search engines.
Which schema types are validated?
We validate common types including Product, Organization, LocalBusiness, Article, BlogPosting, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList, Event, Review, Recipe, VideoObject, HowTo, and more.
Does valid schema guarantee rich snippets?
Valid structured data increases your chances of rich snippets, but Google decides when and if to show them. Correct markup is a prerequisite.
